Contact paint to check the accuracy of crown fit BK 87: liquid 15 ml blue

Arti-Spot® is a contact paint used to check the fit accuracy of inlay and onlay crowns, telescoping crowns, clasps as well as friction surfaces of gate valves. Arti-Spot is applied with a brush to the controlled surface, after a few seconds the solvent evaporates and a thin film with a thickness of about 3μ is formed on the surface. Each point of contact destroys the surface of the film exactly at the point of contact. The base material clearly shines through here, so you can easily recognize this place. Arti-Spot can also be used to inspect contact points on high-gloss occlusal surfaces such as gold or porcelain surfaces. The dye in Arti-Spot is a completely harmless food colouring.

After application, Arti-Spot can be easily removed with: hot water and a brush, e.g. a toothbrush or interdental brush, alcohol, isopropyl alcohol or steam jet. Dental plaster surfaces can also be cleaned of Arti-Spot with a soft brush.
