Root canal preparation instruments

R50 (yellow) - for very wide canals, produces an ISO 50 canal with a taper of .05 in the first few millimeters.

The working element of the instruments is made of M-Wire ® nickel-titanium alloy . Thanks to the applied thermal treatment, the material is more flexible than traditional NiTi alloys and is more resistant to cyclic fatigue.

Application of the RECIPROC system:

Root canal preparation.
When there is a need to inspect the root canal system (remove gutta percha fillings and fillings with gutta percha studs)

RECIPROC® may only be used in reversing mode in combination with a dedicated drive system with original VDW RECIPROC® settings, e.g. VDW.SILVER® RECIPROC®, VDW.GOLD® RECIPROC®. The use of reversible drive systems without original VDW RECIPROC® settings can lead to incorrect use. Thanks to its specific design, the instrument works in reverse mode in the counter-clockwise direction.
