Desensitizing agent with immediate effect.
The silver fluoride and potassium iodide in Riva Star block the microscopic tubules that make up dentine. A precipitate with poor solubility is formed, which brings immediate relief. It prevents the flow of fluid that causes hypersensitivity
Indications:
- Relief of tooth neck hypersensitivity.
Contraindications:
• Do not use to eliminate the hypersensitivity of carious teeth.
• Do not use in patients undergoing thyroid treatment or patients who are known to be allergic to chemicals such as silver, fluoride, potassium, iodine, ammonia and methacrylates.
