What are enamel and dentin etchers used for?
Dental etchers are used to pre-chemically prepare enamel and dentin surfaces before applying glue or dental filling.
How are dental etchers used?
The dental etchant is applied in a thin layer to the tooth surface. After short drying, dentin remains devoid of minerals, which, thanks to its better adhesion, is suitable for applying primer, binding system and filling materials such as composites.
