Description

Essentia HiFlo/i Essentia LoFlo are light-cured, x-ray-conrasting, liquid filling materials for use in the oral cavity, classified as type 1 and class 2 (group 1) according to ISO 4049. Essentia HiFlo shows a contrast in the x-ray image corresponding to 3.0 - 3.5 mm, and Essentia LoFlo shows a contrast in the x-ray image corresponding to 1.5 - 2.0 mm of aluminum (dentin = 1 mm, enamel = 2 mm). The particle size range of inorganic fillers is 0.02 - 1.3 μm for Essentia HiFlo, 0.01 - 1.0 μm for Essentia LoFlo. The total amount of inorganic filler is about 50% by volume.
